Sky Jones is Dead Sky Jones, one of Americas most successful artists, was killed by vicious and greedy art dealers and businessmen who befriended him then robbed him of everything that he worked for and owned and thus killed him. The following is proof of the continual deceit and avarice that destroys the desire to create beauty and then kills the artist. Sky Jones is not the first artist to be robbed and destroyed by thieves but it is a well documented example to other artists of the pitfalls inherent in creating valuable and beautiful works of art. The Killers The following is a partial list of people and organizations that were involved in his demise. They killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. In all cases the art was taken from the artist’s studio under false pretenses. The operating basis used was to befriend the artist or his representatives and take the art on consignment or partially paid for and then refuse to pay for or return the art. The crimes occurred from 1984 through 2001. 99.4% of all art produced during this time by Sky Jones remains unpaid for. This was very discouraging to the artist and he continued painting but stopped signing the bulk of the work in the late 90's. This did not stop Mark Pappendick and Michael Weston nor Ronald Wellborn who took hundreds of paintings that were unsigned. If you or your company name is on this list then either pay for the art you have or return it to us and your name will be removed from this list. If you have purchased art from those on this list then you have received stolen property and have a legal responsibility to return it to us. Documentation of these thefts in the form of notarized testimonies, depositions and photos are on this web site. Prove Ownership or Do Not Buy or Sell To prove legal ownership you must have a bill of sale from each of the people that has owned the piece and have an image of the piece and a certificate from us clearing the title. If you attempt to sell a Sky Jones painting without this certificate there is a good chance that you are transferring stolen property. Museum Services Call 1-800-576-9690 for inquires or email: curator@bankerartmuseum.com Services available to museum member only. A person automatically becomes a museum member for a year when he purchases a work of art from an approved distributor, and then registers the piece with the museum. Unless the work of art that you are holding is registered with the banker Art Museum and all of the appropriate fees are paid yearly, appraisals and registrations are invalid. Keep your registration and appraisals current. If you accept a work of art that was not originally registered, you must then pay all past registration fees that were ignored before the Banker Art Museum can issue you a valid certificate. A house, a car, or a pedigree animal is useless without its appropriate papers. The same is the case with art. The world is full of forgers, copyright infringers, and those with vested interests in hood-winking the public. To protect your investment in art, make certain that it is registered with the Banker Art Museum at all times. Without this, we cannot be sure who has what and thus protect the owners. Unregistered art and documents are unofficial from the eyes of the museum and its members. Do not accept unregistered pieces! |
